I have lived here at fortyone11 for several years. It's the perfect location as there are 5 different ways to head any direction in town. I-5, i-405, i-84 and 7 minutes from downtown. People here are friendly and supportive. Management is attentive and actively works with people to solve issues. Apartments are modern and the floor to ceiling windows are amazing. My favorite is the gas stoves.

The maintenance man, Lee, came to fix my oven and garbage disposal and was very nice and helpful. We had a good conversation while he worked, and if I ever have more maintenance issues I hope it’s Lee that comes to fix them.

Lee from maintenance was fantastic. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly he responded, within a couple hours of submitting the requests Lee had everything totally resolved and operational. And he was so sweet and friendly the whole time, I loved his positive attitude and enthusiasm for getting the job done right. Thank you Lee!!!

This complex has been wonderful to live at! I have met some amazing people here, and have made some lifelong friendships. We have a spacious apartment, great amenities, and I love the option for gated parking. The staff have been splendid, and easy to work with.

I recently toured and I really liked the unit I was shown. The area isn’t my favorite but the complex feels safe/secure. The manager(Heather) was really friendly and took extra steps to accommodate what I was looking for and was really sweet to my dog ❤️❤️. I am moving back to the area soon and I’m definitely going to be moving in here!

I am on my third lease at the location and happily call it my home. Heather and Grace in the office are two of the nicest people I have ever met. Maintenance is efficient and friendly. The building community looks out for each other, frequently hanging out in the lobby catching up on things and forming genuine bonds, especially in the cold months where we all somehow managed to feed each other. Also. The coffee. How I love the free coffee. The neighborhood itself is a nice quiet slice of Portland with outstanding public transit and friendly local merchants, as well as walking distance from some of the best restaurants in the city. Pricing is extremely competitive for the neighborhood with flexible lease options. As long as current management is in place, I wouldn't even consider living anywhere else.

Seemingly solid and awesome spot so far. The elevator and fob key has made moving somewhat painless (I’ve experienced quite a few flights of stairs on moving-days before). Grace and Heather have been helpful. Tons of parking on the side streets, and the neighborhood around the complex seems downright pleasant (lots of family homes and yards). Had the pleasure of talking to a lot of residents while lugging boxes and I have yet to meet anyone that’s lived here less than a year- everyone digs the location.

I moved in in January of 2024 and am about to come up on one year so I thought this was the time to write about my experience here at fortyOne11! Since Heather, Grace and Dan have taken over management and maintenance things have been great. Heather and Grace have been open and inviting, creating fun community events and contests. Dan is so good at making sure maintenance requests are taken care of quickly and in a timely manner. I often see all three of the management team here well past office hours working diligently to make sure things keep going smoothly and the communities needs are met. They regularly ask me and other community members what we think would improve the community. Heather, Grace and Dan all deserve a raise and a bonus for all of their overtime and hard work. Thank y'all for taking great care of the community.

My experience has been wonderful so far! Grace from the management team made our application and move-in process simple by always being attentive and answering all of my questions promptly (and I have a lot of them, haha!). It’s clear that there is a lot of thought and care that goes into making sure that residents have a good experience. My fiancé and I moved into our apartment today and were welcomed by the other manager, Heather, who was very kind and went out of her way to make sure that everything was in order when we got here. The apartment was absolutely pristine and sparkling when I arrived! Not a speck of dirt or dust anywhere and it had brand new appliances. All of the other residents we’ve encountered so far have been extremely pleasant and nice. We heard from one of them that the maintenance here is great, and that if there is ever an issue, they will take care of it right away. We also ran into the maintenance man (didn’t catch his name yet because we were occupied with carrying some furniture) in the lobby and he was super friendly and asked us if we’re liking our unit and that he’s had it ready for a little while now. Also, the surrounding neighborhood is awesome. You’re right between the Alberta St and Williams Ave, so there’s a ton of restaurants, shops, cafes, galleries, and just a lot of fun things to do within walking distance. Everything has been great so far and I would recommend this apartment complex to anyone!

Loved the apartment! Modern, bright and big windows, with a gas stove! Management was responsive and always trying to better the community (coffee/espresso machine in the lobby, weekend donuts)... there are some trash residents, but I imagine you get that anywhere... convenient place to walk, bike and ride. Lots of restaurants over on Williams, but not paying Williams rent.

very nice and helpful staff. move-in process was very smooth, and the prices are pretty good for what you get! only complaint is that parking costs are outrageous ($180 a month!) and this isn't explicitly detailed on the website. street parking has been decent so far, but a little more clarity on the actual included amenities would have been nice. overall, these are incredibly well maintained, nice apartments. great location too :D

This was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had moving! Jonathan was so helpful, kind and made this my favorite leasing group we love cushman and Wakefield to work with! The apartments are super well kept and going to have remodeling in lobby fairly soon I highly recommend this place

So, I've been living here for a while now. I was the first person to live in my apartment, and I was here when we changed property management companies in Spring 2021. I liked the old team, so I was very hesitant about the new company that came in, but I can honestly say that they've been the coolest. I kinda didn't know property managers can be cool people until they took over. Lobby got cleaner, the people in the office got way kinder, the management gets back to you, they're empathetic, they're capable, they're flexible. They do cool stuff like wine bars and stuff sometimes. They check up on problems to make sure they got resolved. Just overall super on top of it. tldr; disregard reviews pre March 2021 - new management is pretty sick
